DashTek worked with a customer that had 3 servers and 100 users.
Every day they had to reboot their accounting server. This resulted in downtime in excess of an hour a day as well as lost productivity and work. Dashtek proposed replacing the outdated servers with 2 servers and putting in a firewall to protect the users and servers. The servers were migrated to the latest Microsoft server software and all data was moved as well. DashTek also replaced their domain controller and Exchange server and migrated them to the latest. Now this customer has eliminated downtime and increased their productivity. By implementing this solution the company saved thousands of dollars. The end users are happy and productive and now understand that the way they used to do things was not the most efficient.
Application Development
DashTek created a VB application to solve production issues.
DashTek created an application to automate the running of a manufacturing facility. When DashTek was brought in, it took the customer over 2 days to process and order and could only support one customer per site. After DashTek's application was deployed, the customer could process the order and invoice out of Quickbooks in about 5 minutes. They could also now support other customers as this process was streamlined and automated. It saved the customer time, resources and allowed them to grow their business.
DashTek also created Time Trakker a Web-based application that are used to manage remote users Time by setting up an Application that allows users to remotly log their time to jobs and projects. There is also a supervisory and administrative interfaces to allow for proper approvals and exports to most payroll systems.Coupled with a management dashboard, a manager can generate reports on projects, employees and weekly time quickly.
DashTek also created Sales Trakker an web-based application that allows a company to track prospects, activity, and proposals for sales groups. This application quickly shows an owner or manager their sales pipeline in real time and assists the sales person in tracking their time and activities to every prospects and customers. The reporting of the application is incredible to quickly diagnose where a company stands on sales in just a click of a button.
Remote Support
DashTek worked with a customer that had over 100 remote users.
Dashtek was brought in to assist a customer in handling over 100 remote users. DashTek implemented a customD DashTek Help Agent for the customer so that now the one support person on site can handle fixing issues for their remote users quickly and easily. Alternative solutions would have cost the company thousands and required end user assistance. By using the DashTek Help Agent this company now has more time to handle other issues and saved the extra cost of having to hire a help desk employee.
